1981 DeLorean DMC-12

This 1981 DeLorean DMC-12 was purchased new by the seller and has remained registered in Oklahoma since new, showing 16k miles. The Giugiaro-designed unfinished stainless steel bodywork is fitted over a composite underbody and Lotus-derived double-Y steel backbone chassis. It is powered by a rear-mounted 2.85-liter V6 designed by Peugeot, Renault, and Volvo (PRV), which was factory-rated at 130 horsepower and 160 lb-ft of torque. Power is routed to the rear wheels through a five-speed manual transaxle. Additional equipment includes counterbalanced gullwing doors, rear window louvers, 14″ and 15″ turbine-style aluminum wheels, air conditioning, and a cassette stereo.
